Hosting open-source project meetings at CERN

The OSPO endorses and vividly recommends CERN staff to offer CERN as a venue for meetings and workshops of open-source projects, where these projects are relevant to the work or mission of CERN.

Past occurrences of such meetings hosted at CERN have increased the appreciation of CERN as an active contributor to open-source projects and CERN’s visibility as an open-source lab. The OSPO sees help with the organization of such events as an ideal way of supporting open-source projects, perfectly aligned with CERN’s Open Science mission.
